Near the Amerindian village Galibi, the Marowijne river flows from the Atlantic Ocean. At approx. one hour by boat from the village lies the unique nature reserve named: Babunsanti. On the sand beaches of Babunsanti and Eilanti thousands of sea turtles come each year to lay their eggs (season February – August). At night it is possible to observe these unique nature phenomena: an experience you will not easily forget.
